Your responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions
  • Design, develop, and refactor complex Tableau dashboards with a focus on performance and usability
  • Ensure compliance with data visualization best practices
  • Optimize and maintain existing Tableau applications, ensuring quality and performance
  • Oversee Tableau Server tasks: user management, permissions, data source governance
  • Implement robust data security measures within Tableau
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Coordinate with Tableau Admin team for production deployment
  • Evaluate new Tableau features and propose enhancements to existing solutions

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or in a comparable course of study
  • A solid understanding of SQL, Data warehousing, relational databases, and normalization
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and dashboard design principles
  • Extensive knowledge in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards & analytics, and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture
  • At least 3 years of experience with Tableau
  • Very good analytical skills and a strong technical understanding
  • Very good English skills (spoken & written)
