Join our innovative team, where your expertise in API development will be pivotal in transforming the automotive industry. We are looking for a Senior/Lead Consultant with a strong background in API development to help us design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art API solutions. This role can be a full-time position or a freelance opportunity, offering flexibility to the ideal candidate. We are open to candidates in India, Czechia, Slovakia, Greece, and Germany.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable, and secure APIs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Architect and implement microservices using Kubernetes to ensure robust and reliable systems
- Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions for continuous integration, and Argo CD or equivalent tooling for continuous deployment
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Manage and guide the future development team, ensuring best practices and high standards
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Contribute to data engineering and data governance initiatives
Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:
- A solid professional background with a minimum of 5 years in the industry
- Proficient in Python, with strong experience in FastAPI for API development
- Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
