The Marketing team at Adastra DACH is looking for a dynamic individual to join our impactful B2B marketing team. The Marketing team is a key function at Adastra, translating our industry-leading capabilities into meaningful customer messages delivered through strategic channels, partner ecosystems, and our dedicated Account Team. 

Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and the Local Leadership teams for DACH and Automotive, this individual will be critical in developing strategic activities for the DACH market, overseeing their execution, and playing a leadership role within the Global Marketing team as Lead for the Center of Excellence on Digital Campaigns

The Senior Manager will have direct reports and be responsible for overseeing the work and developing yearly objectives. The Senior Manager for DACH will need to collaborate with other CoE leads at the global level to ensure the proper execution of initiatives in the DACH region. 

Additionally, the Senior Manager will play a key role locally, interacting within the Partner Ecosystems, namely AWS and Microsoft, to bolster our presence and create effective linkages with their go-to-market teams.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan to align with the overall business objectives for the DACH and Automotive markets 
  • Collaborate closely with the local leadership to update, execute, and report on marketing activities in accordance with business goals 
  • Oversee and manage direct reports to ensure timely and excellent execution of local tactics 
  • Develop objectives for the local marketing team and serve as a mentor and coach to elevate the marketing proficiency and maturity within the team 
  • Participate actively in the Global Marketing Leadership team and contribute to fostering a strong marketing culture 
  • Provide best-in-class expertise in digital campaigns, including development, execution, monitoring, and reporting 
  • Lead the Center of Excellence for Digital Campaigns, providing oversight, strategy, and ensuring executional excellence in other markets
  • Ensure equitable workload distribution among CoE team members 
  • Leverage the other Global CoEs to deliver the local DACH and Automotive plan 
  • Plan and manage the local Marketing Activities budget and work closely with the local CFO to ensure fiscal responsibility 
  • Lead and develop the monthly Marketing reporting and performance 
  • Play a key role in the local partner ecosystem 
  • Identify market opportunities for events based on industry gaps and emerging trends in solution/product areas 
  • Use internal competitive intelligence to spot opportunities aligned with business goals and engage with industry leaders for assistance when appropriate 
  • Embody and promote the company's culture and values

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English 
  • Deep understanding of the DACH B2B market 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, or related field 
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive leadership experience with a track record of successfully achieving business objectives 
  • Proven strong people management skills 
  • Deep expertise in digital campaign strategy, execution, and reporting. Proficiency with HubSpot and Dynamics D365 is required 
  • Thorough understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, capabilities, and solutions that generate partner growth and innovation 
  • Extensive experience as a strategic advisor and in executive relationship management 
  • Inclusive and collaborative approach, fostering teamwork and cross-team alignment 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation, skills with a high degree of comfort in working with management 
  • Extraordinary attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
