Senior DevOps Engineer

Your responsibilities:

  • Support and share responsibility in building hybrid / cloud architecture for use cases
  • Automate the Infrastructure as Code to set up and configure system landscapes
  • Responsible for setting-up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating the build & deployment processes
  • Automation of tasks for on-boarding customers on the cloud
  • Design and document cloud solutions as per technical and business requirements
  • Cloud administration and support

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as System Engineer / DevOps Engineer with a focus on automating processes
  • In-depth knowledge of Hybrid cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and On-Premise
  • Experience in automating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Google Deployment Manager or Cloud Formation
  • Hands-on in container-based operating models with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE or OpenShift)
  • Solid knowledge to setup CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Bamboo, Maven, Git and Bitbucket
  • Well versed in Source Code Management with Git, GitHub or GitLab
  • Agile mindset, committed in an active and team-oriented approach


Nice-To-Have:

  • Programming knowledge in Python / Scala / Java / Perl / Go / Shell-scripting is a plus
  • Understanding of the Big Data Ecosystem with Spark and BigQuery is an advantage 
  • Good knowledge of the Unix/Linux operating system with Networking and Security aspects in the Cloud environment
  • Knowledge of Configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, Chef or SaltStack
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • German knowledge is a huge plus
