Consultant for Big Data and Hadoop

Your responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on the planning of big data projects
  • Developing and implementing complex big data solutions
  • Development of extract, transformation and loading processes for big data solutions
  • Development of Hadoop-specific applications


Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • A university degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration with an IT focus or in a a comparable course of study
  • Advanced Programming skills, ideally in Java, Scala or Python
  • Experience in Hadoop Environments (MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Impala etc.) and / or with NoSQL-Databases
  • Very good analytical skills and a strong technical understanding
  • You are a quick thinker with passion for your work
  • You are a responsible team player who enjoys communicating
  • Fluent English spoken and written is a Must


  • First experience in the BI / Analytics environment · 
  • A mathematical background (Statistical Methods, Predictive / Prescriptive Analytics)
  • German knowledge will be a plus
